A licensed cosmetologist and premium men’s braider and loc specialist, Marjorie’s work is known for clean parts, comfortable tension, and styles made to hold up. Services range from stitch braids and cornrows to starter locs, retwists, repairs, and ongoing loc care.
Beyond her specialties, the menu includes protective styling, natural hair care, silk presses, color, treatments, and more.

WHO IS MANESBYMARJI?
Marjorie has always known she wanted to do hair. Born in Richmond and raised in Raleigh, she was already braiding her friends’ hair in elementary school, and by the time she graduated high school, she knew exactly where she was headed.
Now the artist behind MANESBYMARJI, she’s built a career around something that came naturally to her from the beginning. For Marjorie, the best part is still seeing how someone feels when they get out of her chair. She loves helping her clients feel good, stand a little taller, and leave with confidence.
Everyone is welcome in her chair.

Here, Marjorie has everything she needs to take you through your appointment from start to finish, with a waiting room and shared shampoo room just beyond the main salon, tucked beneath a canopy of tree branches and greenery.
